Business Systems Analyst

Key Qualifications:

• Ability to collaborate thoughtfully with non-technical business unit stakeholders (i.e. non-coders) to help determine requirements, plan out delivery, and communicate results using diagrams and presentations
• Ability to create appropriate communications targeted to corresponding IT developers and product owners
• Ability to analyze requirements, design, implement, debug, and deploy Cloud Platform services and components
• Ability to develop and maintain design documents and interface specifications
• At least basic exposure to data science and machine learning methods
• You are potentially available to travel for consulting engagements to all the markets we serve

Additional Considerations:

• At least intermediate experience with these BI tools: Python, PowerBI, SQL, Tableau, or related BI tools
• Familiarity with different programming paradigms (e.g. OOP vs. Functional) 
• Familiarity with source control best practices: Define, Setup/Configure, Deploy and Maintain source code (e.g. GIT, VisualSafe Source) 
• Experience writing unit tests, interacting with CI/DevOps systems, including familiarity with code quality and UAT processes  
• Ability to develop and schedule processes to extract, transform, and store data from these systems: SQL databases, Azure cloud services, Google cloud service, Snowflake
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment 
• Ability to elicit accurate and thorough business requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Salaries vary and are dependent on considerations such as: experience and specific skills/certifications. The base plus target bonus salary range for this role is $90,000 to $140,000. Additional compensation beyond this range is available as a result of leadership and business development opportunities. Salary details are discussed openly during the hiring process.

• Ability to explore data sets with SQL using complex joins
• Ability to describe how data is collected, stored, transformed, distributed, and consumed.
• Experience coding solutions in Python
• Data storytelling capability through visualizations
