Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst position works closely with the Finance, Project Delivery and HR teams to ensure the accuracy and the integrity of the Financial timekeeping, Project Delivery and BI reporting systems. As part of the IT team, this position supports over 1500 employees and is the key contact to troubleshooting IT issues related to the financial software.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with implementation of software architecture, standards and processes
  • Participate in implementation, testing and deployment of new and existing software
  • Maintain and support the timekeeping and project delivery software including change control documentation, key data changes and process documentation
  • Assign security and access rights for over 1500 users across multiple locations
  • Provide onboarding support to new users on using the timekeeping system
  • Troubleshoot issues and queries from employees as well as the Finance and Project Delivery teams
  • Ensure time entry compliance across Critical Mass using established procedures

Must-Haves:

  • Diploma or Degree
  • 1-3 years experience in financial systems or timekeeping management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a shifting workload
  • Ability to work independently and to exercise strong technical judgment
  • Interest in learning new technologies and new software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Excel including pivot tables and database queries
  • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-services environment
  • Prior BI experience considered an asset
