Job Description

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst to become part of a growth company with ever present infrastructure and business system initiatives. The IT Business Systems Analyst will manage and maintain Deltek Costpoint and related databases. Additional responsibilities will include assisting users with Costpoint usage and developing reports and dashboards using Cognos Business Intelligence. As a member of the Business Information Systems team, you will support integrations with Hyland OnBase workflows and custom applications developed in-house.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• Work closely with all operations departments and IT teams to ensure the successful support for Deltek Costpoint and integrated applications
• Manage SQL Server databases: security, performance monitoring, and backup and recovery
• Develop Cognos reports and dashboards to support reporting requirements of various operational groups
• Develop Excel templates that can be used for importing data using Costpoint preprocessors
• Manage user accounts and security roles in Deltek Costpoint and Cognos
• Apply patches to test and production environments for both Deltek Costpoint and IBM Cognos Business Intelligence

Required experience/skills:

• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Deltek Costpoint
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL and SQL server tools, including queries, data extraction, data transformation, data loading
• Ability to handle sensitive materials and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Problem solving capabilities, particularly bridging IT, and other functional areas (Accounting, Human Resources, Purchasing, Contracts, Subcontracts, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related technology field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting Deltek Costpoint
• 7+ year of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience managing IBM Cognos Business Intelligence including Framework Manager
• Experience with Hyland OnBase or other workflow solutions
