Business Systems Analyst / Administrator

The Role: 

As a Business Systems Analyst / Administrator on the Business Systems and Insights team you’ll serve as the bridge between business operations and technology. You’ll analyze configure and maintain our core systems to drive efficiency support financial workflows and deliver strategic solutions.

Location: This position is remote in Denver CO. We intend to open an office in Denver and once we do we will require hybrid attendance onsite at least 9 days each month.

Responsibilities:
• Gather analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders across finance operations and product teams. 
• Translate business needs into functional specifications system workflows and configuration design. 
• Configure administer and maintain enterprise systems (e.g. ERP accounting CRM back-office tools). 
• Lead system upgrades new implementations and integration projects; manage vendor relationships. 
• Develop and execute test plans including user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system changes. 
• Train end users create documentation (user guides SOPs) and provide post-implementation support. 
• Monitor system performance perform root cause analysis for issues and proactively recommend process improvements. 
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal controls relating to financial systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems Finance or a related field. 
• 3–6 years of experience in a business systems analyst or systems administrator role within financial services fintech or accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of financial operations accounting principles and regulatory requirements. 
• Proficiency with system configuration user management and role-based permissions.
• Hands-on experience with system testing UAT and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. 
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and process-improvement skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
• Experience administering SaaS platforms (e.g. Zendesk Hubspot) 
• Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment.
• Prior exposure to financial reporting accounting automations or transactional systems.

For residents of Denver CO the annual salary range for this role is $110000 - $140000+ annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography candidate experience and expertise bonus and other factors
