Position Purpose:

This position oversees the analysis of current processes, identify process improvements, develop detailed business requirements, and perform functional testing to support changes to Stericycle's software systems.

Key Job Activities:

  • Develop and analyze existing IT process, identify problems and resolutions, and write requirement specifications according to standard templates using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously and concisely
  • Perform functional testing and coordinate and assist User Acceptance Testing to ensure developed solutions meet the business requirements in accordance with quality standards.
  • Creates documentation for various stages of planning, design, implementation, and support of system changes
  • Works with business counterparts on delivering prioritized solutions based on best practices, business processes and own expertise
  • Participate in reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly and provide post-deployment support of changes
  • Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of the requirements process. Assist with the development of the organization's requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools
  • Manage requirements traceability information and tracks requirements status throughout the software development life cycle
  • Manage changes to baseline requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools
  • Work with consultants and temporary employees as required or requested, may be in an on-shore/off-shore model across multiple time zones.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Additional activities based on specific applications supported (specific process knowledge, department interacting with, platform module(s), etc.)

  • Across enterprise-wide establish standards and requirements to evaluate and direct enhancements and implement solutions related to Market to Quote MTQ
  • Provide functional and technical support for Business Strategy; Marketing; Sales Operations; Customer Service that utilize Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Configure Price Quote (CPQ)

Education:

Required Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent

Experience (North America):

  • Education equivalent to Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or other related discipline or the equivalent in related work experience.
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience in a medium to large size corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to reengineer processes to make them more effective for the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience working on large, strategic projects as well as serving as Project Manager on moderately complex projects across full life cycle.
  • Targeted experience with customer relationship systems, financial systems, transportation logistics, warehousing, and/or telephony systems a plus.
  • Multilingual a plus
  • Salesforce certification is a plus

Recommends improvements to prevent reemergence of resolved issues

Physical Requirements:

  • Hearing - perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
  • Seeing - use visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations
  • Sitting - sit for sustained periods of time
  • Talking - expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
  • Typing - type with the fingers, and/or separate pages of documents, etc.,
  • Visual Acuity - close visual acuity to perform activities such as, preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, filing papers, operating a vehicle, etc.
