Business Systems Analyst II (REMOTE, SQL, & Visio)

This is a fully remote opportunity, providing the opportunity to work from home (WFH).

IQVIA is known to be one of the world's largest and leading Pharmaceutical data and services providers. This Business Systems Analyst II will have the opportunity to work on one of IQVIA's leading patient data products, LAAD. In this role the Business Analyst will be helping the custom LAAD team's processes to enable seamless integrations between our data and our client's technologies.

As a Business Analyst II you'll partner with client and internal teams to ensure business requirements and supporting artifacts are identified, documented, approved, and promoted to production. These systems provide our clients with integrated data feeds that are leveraged by our clients to guide their decisions and strategies.

Essential Functions

• Document current processes to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for one of IQVIA's leading data platforms, enabling better customization options.
• Review current state business processes and user needs
• Documents detailed business rules
• Responsible for bringing source data knowledge or appropriate SME to the project team to assure appropriate use of data
• Provides support to all internal development and implementation teams throughout SLDC
• Supports preparation of test plans and test cases
• Write end-user/training guides documentation
• Write operational documentation (manual and automated process flows)
• Review custom coding to identify redundancies and then create common code from those redundancies to be utilized as a first option before further customization is required
• Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and requirements.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• Five (5) years systems analysis experience
• Intermediate SQL coding expertise
• Previous experience utilizing business applications (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems and processes to enable execution of those skills.
• Ability to obtain a thorough understanding of IQVIA data and current systems.
