Business Systems Analyst III

POSITION: Business Systems Analyst III M-F, 8AM - 5PM Full-time - 40 hrs/wk.

DUTIES:

Business Analysts will work closely with business sponsors and the information Technologies team to align process and technology solutions to support business needs and create process improvements. Focus will be on ensuring effective sales processes, tools and reporting solutions.

• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to address business problems, systems issues and generate consensus on best paths to solve challenges.
• Develop and analyze system functional requirements.
• Document business requirements and systems specifications.
• Interpret business needs and translate them into system requirements.
• Prepare Requirement documentation, document business rules / functional requirements, process maps to support data conversions and achieving the required results.
• Test software or applications or coordinate a testing environment prior to launch of enhancements.
• Review with the development group for system design and development. Facilitate and manage User Acceptance testing and provide support for change management activities.

Work Experience:

• Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or the foreign academic equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in Systems Requirements Gathering for enterprise level applications.
• 5 years of experience with the effective use of productivity tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, HP ALM- Quality Centre 12.20 ).
• 3 years of experience with Process Mapping.
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Visio, SAP ECC.
• Background check and drug screening required. All experience may be gained concurrently.

Alternative:

• Master's in Information Technology or Business, or related field and 3 years of experience in a system or process analyst role, or in the job offered, or related occupation;
• 3 years of experience in Systems Requirements Gathering for enterprise level applications, primarily SAP.
• 3 years of experience with the effective use of productivity tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, HP ALM- Quality Centre 12.20).
• 1 year of experience with Process Mapping.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Visio, SAP ECC 6.0.
