Business Systems Analyst Intern

The IT team focuses on delivering and supporting capabilities that improve business processes, enable Boston Dynamicists to connect and collaborate more easily, collect and mine data for analytical insights, and enhance performance across all aspects of Boston Dynamics's value chain. The IT intern (summer) will have an opportunity to work in each of these areas as a fully-immersed member of the Enterprise Applications team.

Day to day activities:

• Application development and configuration: Designs, develops, configures, and tests application technology solutions to meet business requirements.
• Business analysis: Uses knowledge of business processes to define requirements, analyze options, and create functional designs for technology solutions to business problems.
• Data analysis: Develops reporting & analytical solutions to turn data into business insights. Includes the management of reusable & consistent data structures, and the development of data visualizations (dashboards) for broad, company use.
• Participate in team projects and activities as assigned.

Desired skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters of Science degree in: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, MIS, Business Information Systems, Business or Engineering with IT focus (other related majors may be considered)
• Ability to learn new technologies and processes information quickly
• Ability to adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
