Business Systems Analyst - Kronos
Job Description
Duration:3-4 months
Pay rate: $83/hr on W2 plus benefits
Location:Portland, Oregon (Hybrid 3/2 model)
Key Skills Required:ADP/Kronos, Workforce Management, Wireframes, Storyboarding, Context Diagrams, Prototypes, Information Architecture, UI Design, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Documentation, Problem-Solving, Communication Skills, Testing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops partnerships and works closely with business team members to understand and document day in the life and usability requirements through storyboards, wireframes, user interface specifications and other documentation.
- Creates integration context diagrams and associated systems process models to aid in clarity.
- Works closely with Business functional analyst and business customer to ensure information and integration requirements are clearly understood and resolve any conflicts.
- Creates and maintains paper prototypes, User Interface (UI) storyboards and UI specifications by working closely with functional analysts and Business team members.
- Participates in creating the organization, navigation, and the look-n-feel of the UI for the application in collaboration with systems/functional analysts and Business team members.
- Defines test scenarios based on business processes and may participate in integration testing when needed.
- Conducts usability User Acceptance Tests (UAT) with business teams.
- Drives decisions by working with remote groups to gather and document strategic and tactical requirements from the business.
- Coordinates and communicates functional requirements of business unit and technical solutions with IT capability resources by designing and documenting advanced functional specs.
- Communicates critical, high-risk, advanced and/or cross-functional technical design and solutions to executive management inside and outside the organization.
- Review and approve that the system design meets business process requirements.
- Communicate and document system changes to the business.
- Consult on best practice configuration of systems.
- Communicate project status to management and the business.
- Oversees and performs complex testing activities including validation of test results.
Required qualifications and skills:
- 10+ years technically relevant work experience.
- Heavy Kronos/ADP experience.
- Can write a blueprint document.
- API experience would be nice to have but not required.
Preferred educational qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, or equivalent
