Job Description

We’re seeking an Intern who is passionate about using technology to achieve business goals. S/he will be part of our IT team that partners with our company's Services, Software, and Mobile Video business teams, primarily focusing on the functional areas of Quoting, Subscriptions, Service Contracts, and Installed Base. You will be part of a team responsible for enhancing our current systems and designing and implementing our future solutions.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our business stakeholders and IT leads to understand business needs and desired outcomes.

• Translate business needs into requirements, process flows, technical solution designs, and configuration documents

• Collaborate with other IT teams to drive development & testing of the solutions 

• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues, and document test results.

• Initiate and participate in production rollout processes

• Research new technologies and implement them to make business processes and interactions easier for users

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Background

• Maintain a sense of urgency towards timelines and results

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional & geographically dispersed teams

• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical

• Detail oriented, proactive self-starter, who demonstrates independent thinking and problem solving ability.

• Good data analytical ability is beneficial

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development is beneficial

• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion and/or E-Business Suite is beneficial

Basic Requirements

• Candidate must be pursuing a Masters Degree in one of the following degree programs: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Enterprise Systems Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems.

• Graduation date on or after December 2023
