Business Systems Architect

This role sits at the intersection of systems architecture, automation, and AI-driven product innovation within a fast-growing digital marketing environment. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable operational systems that transform how the organization delivers services and manages workflows. Acting as both a builder and strategic thinker, you will architect advanced ClickUp ecosystems, develop AI-powered automation, and integrate multiple tools into seamless, intelligent workflows. The position also plays a key role in shaping the transition from service-based operations to a product-led SaaS model. You will collaborate closely with leadership to translate abstract ideas into structured, functional systems that improve efficiency and scalability. This is a highly hands-on role where experimentation, rapid prototyping, and continuous optimization are central. It is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building from zero to one.

• Design and implement AI-driven workflows and intelligent agents to automate internal operations and service delivery processes.
• Build, manage, and continuously optimize advanced ClickUp systems, including dashboards, automations, templates, and structured workflows.
• Architect scalable project management and operational systems tailored to agency needs and future SaaS transformation.
• Integrate APIs and automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, Airtable, and AI tools) to connect business systems and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with leadership to conceptualize, prototype, and evolve internal tools into potential SaaS products.
• Rapidly test and iterate system and product ideas using agile, experimental “build-first” approaches.
• Document systems, workflows, and processes to ensure scalability, adoption, and operational consistency across teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in systems building, automation, or technical operations roles, ideally within digital environments.
• Strong expertise in ClickUp, including complex workflow design, automation, and system architecture implementation.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, Airtable, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of AI tools, APIs, and agent-based automation systems.
• Experience or strong interest in SaaS product development and systems-to-product transformation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a systems-thinking mindset and high attention to scalability.
• Ability to independently take ideas from concept to execution with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in digital marketing agencies is highly advantageous.
