Position will be Virtual/Remote.

This is a brand-new position within MVP's Operations department aligned with MVP's values that delivering a best-in-class experience for our customers requires us to challenge the status quo and encourage others to do the same. This individual will join the Business Technology team to work on the advancement of MVP's technical assets by creating solutions that drive system efficiencies and effectiveness throughout the organization. They will work collaboratively across business units to effectively plan and facilitate discovery sessions or workshops to understand business strategy/ goals and objectives to develop recommendations that drive continuous improvement across the enterprise. An ideal candidate is someone that is good at understanding "what" and "why" a given business area is trying to accomplish and is then able to match it with "how" any of our tools in the MVP technology stack fits into the solution. They will be responsible for project scoping, requirements gathering, process review, prioritization, analyzing data, creating/documenting workflows. They will be able to analyze data to perform root cause analysis focusing on increasing efficiency and/or delivering ROI. The Business Technologist will teach about available technologies across the organization to advance the understanding of the possibilities that exist to increase accuracy and/or efficiency. Executes tasks timely and escalates roadblocks to success to Leadership for resolution. Uses every aspect of the MVP Way in day-to-day work. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technical job experience preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience gathering and facilitating requirements & design sessions
  • Data Analysis experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Successful results of implementing system and process changes that drive organizational efficiencies
  • Experience critically evaluating complex workflows
  • Knowledge of various types of technology including automation and robotic processing
  • Experience evaluating business procedures and problems, root cause analysis
  • Understanding of healthcare insurance industry
  • LEAN and Agile methodology training and/or certifications
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple business units.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment is required, interfacing with all levels of staff and management at the enterprise level
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Visio, Teams, Planner, Power point
  • Experience supporting complex system changes and new requirements, including system and ROI analysis

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
