Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business teams on gathering reporting & analytical use cases requirements
• Perform a deep dive data analysis on business/data requirements to support business and data engineering teams
• Prepare mapping specs for the data engineering team to help build a data pipeline in Hadoop/Spark environment
• Provide support to business teams in formulating test strategies and test cases
• Provide support for integration and user acceptance testing
• Provide support to the data engineering team on existing use cases deployed in Production (data analysis anomaly detection, handling user queries on data, etc.)

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in building data pipelines for Data Lake and Data warehouse/Data Marts is required
• Strong knowledge in supporting Business Intelligence and Analytical use cases is required
• Strong SQL knowledge and basic Unix shell scripting knowledge are required
• Prior BA/DA experience in an EDW/Data Lake environment: 5+ years
• Prior experience in the Energy/Utility domain is preferred
