Business/Program Analyst
Job Description
LS Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to provide multiple program and budget support functions for the Mode S Beacon Replacement System (MSBRS) Program Office within the FAA's Program Management Office (PMO), Surveillance Acquisition and Sustainment (SAS) group. This position provides budgetary and business support services, conducts research, evaluations, analyses, and studies to present recommendations/solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements. Specific expertise may be required in configuration management, Earned Value Management, financial management, cost estimation, or risk management.
Responsibilities
- Perform various financial management duties and must have knowledge of FAA and F&E financial principles and procedures in carrying out assignments.
- Serve as the focal point to coordinate, audit, review, inspect through examination, track, and status management on program finances, including interagency agreements such as Service Order Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and Project Scope Agreements.
- Manage and coordinate program budgets through fundamental accounting and reporting processes, analyze and advise management on program funding status. Activities may include developing and monitoring spend plans, generating tracking mechanisms and spreadsheets for real-time status of program funding.
- Analyze and evaluate program plans, objectives, and funding changes and their effect on financial program milestones.
- Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations.
- Attend virtual and onsite meetings.
- Adhere to established laws, policies, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications and Required skills:
- Must have basic knowledge of FAA financial systems to include DELPHI, PRISM, and E2.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience supporting FAA AMS activities across a system lifecycle
- Ability to work independently and understand complex technical terms/materials.
- Experience editing business requirements and system requirements (functional and non-functional) and other project and technical documentation as directed.
Years of Relevant Experience: 10 - 15 years
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (any field); 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.
