Our B2B Inside Sales team begins their career at Wayfair with an in-depth renowned paid training program to prepare them to engage our B2B customers in an inbound sales queue with the goal of building customer loyalty through a great customer experience. 


What You'll Do 

  • Receive new leads through a variety of sources and via phone and email outreach, better understand the needs of their business without compromising short term / transactional revenue.  
  • Conducting genuine conversations to uncover the full scale & scope of your accounts as well as determining future account potential
  • Educate our new customers on Wayfair Professional values as well as vertical specific program benefits
  • Transition accounts to the correct Wayfair Professional program by collecting key customer data points and making realtime informed decisions. 
  • Effectively use tools to communicate with our business customers via phone, email, screen share and/or other technology 
  • Ability to travel at a minimum once annually, with the potential for more frequent travel as we continue to develop our new normal.

What You'll Need 

  • Associates Degree AND/OR prior Business Development/Sales Development experience required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high output phone sales environment 
  • Hardworking and resilient attitude with a strong desire to build relationships through technology 
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with the goal to build continuous customer loyalty to Wayfair
  • The ability to embrace and implement feedback to adopt new skills in a fast-paced environment and be an active participant in your own professional development
  • You are extremely self-motivated and reliable 
  • Ability to drive results, metrics, and key performance indicators 
  • Highly motivated by being an industry leader 

This position has a performance-based compensation structure that includes a base salary range of $32,000 - $38,000 per year (dependent on zip code for cost of living adjustments). You will have the opportunity to earn upwards of $60,000K per year (base + commission inclusive) which is dependent on performance metrics and sales goals.
