• This position is responsible for buying all items for manufacturing Fox Robotics Autonomous Forklifts.  
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of BOM items, tools, and supplies required for the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements and ensure seamless supply chain operations
• Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) reports to identify and fulfill additional procurement needs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on time delivery, prompt communication, consistent product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Work closely with vendors to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Monitor and identify items approaching End-of-Life (EOL) status. Proactively engage in finding alternative solutions, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring a smooth transition to new components to avoid disruptions in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in supplier assessment activities to evaluate performance, reliability, and adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct regular reviews with suppliers, providing feedback and working collaboratively to improve processes and maintain a strong supplier relationship.
• Assume other responsibilities as requested in support of departmental goals and priorities

• Must possess knowledge of contract terms
• Experience in Commercial procurement skills
• Must possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; capable to interact with senior management at suppliers
• Flexible attitude, well organized and efficient
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Access database experience including database management required
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
