Mission/About the role:

This role will be responsible for purchasing activities for a given commodity/commodities and to ensure the operational relations with suppliers within the strategy defined in cross functional team and the respect of the contracts on the field (plant, entity); take part in the negotiation process regarding price level, and / or quantity, quality, logistic service level; track and report key elements/data on supplier performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in need and market analysis, sourcing strategy generation, risk assessment, supplier selection and contracting activities.
  • Calibrate with front office market dynamics and keep focused on customers' needs.
  • Participate in cost benchmarking and modeling.
  • Manage supply qualification and development.
  • Generate and lead cash efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and leverage world-class processes/systems.
  • Manage and implement contracts with awarded suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relation and monitor supplier performance.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering - Business Administration/Supply Chain.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Professional user of MS office.
  • Ability to work with team.
  • Autonomous.
  • Adhering to corporate principles & values.
  • Learning & Researching.
  • Adapting & responding to change.
