Job Description

As a Buying Coordinator within our US team, you'll be based in NYC from our office and supporting the US Buy Manager and broader team. You will play a critical link between the Sales, Operations and Logistics team, requiring you to develop excellent communication and organisational skills to support the fast paced growth and admin influx.

On top of having strong analytical and numerical skills and attention to detail, you'll need to bring and develop an in-depth understanding of 'hot product', fashion market trends and the Threads Customer, as well as having a business and sales-first mind.

You will also be responsible for the admin with purchases, receipts and blockers to ensure team compliance is up to par. You'll also help recognise and source products from across the globe and assist with managing the product journey from purchase to the end delivery to the client.

Salary for this role is between $40,000 - $50,000 per annum depending on experience.

This role and the team are hybrid based out of our NYC office. This role does have in-office expectations because of how we operate as a team and business, and although we're really open to what those are and how they work, this team does require 4 days a week together in the office.

We regret that we are not open to fully remote applications right now for this reason, but what we can offer is a flexible working approach which can be discussed per role and a host of team cultural activities and treats in our office.

Requirements

You Will:

  • Support receipt procedures and ensure strategies are followed for all purchases
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers to gain access to hot product
  • Assist launches for any projects centred around Threads Buy
  • Develop and expand knowledge of new trends and brands through in store visits and social media
  • Proactively support marketing gaps and ensure there is existing content for items we are purchasing
