Marketing Technology Engineer
Job Description:
As the firm continues to build out our Marketing Technology (MarTech) stack, we need a proficient Engineer to assist in the implementation, management, adoption, and optimization of our MarTech solutions. This role would be liaising with stakeholders in the marketing department, technology teams and external agencies regularly. The ability to understand the nuances of the technology and define how they would drive our business objectives forward will be central to this role. In addition to these skills, a curiosity toward problem solving is also highly recommended.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative solutions which demonstrate how connected experiences come to life with Marketing Automation tools such as Pardot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing cloud etc.
- Lead architecture design and implementation of reports/dashboards to measure effectiveness of global marketing programs
- Requirements gathering and recommendations for tools and technologies and/or ways to leverage existing data and platforms to test, inform, and execute campaigns
- Advise and oversee the technical side of cross-channel program execution, ensuring data integrity and proper audience targeting
- Work closely with designers, analysts, and paid media planners to build/target audiences, A/B test, and optimize campaigns
- Experience in communicating with stakeholders, other technical teams, and senior management
- Use modern software development methodologies and tools like JIRA to manage and deliver projects
Qualifications:
- Desire to learn new technologies
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude
- Minimum 3+ years in Marketing Automation tools such as Pardot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign
- Possess 3+ experience in SQL Server or similar database technology
- Experience with Web Analytics using tools such as Google Analytics, Tealium, Adobe analytics
- Experience with A/B testing tool such as Optimizely or Adobe Target is nice to have
- Experience with content management systems preferably WordPress is nice to have
- An ability to drive projects from inception to completion
- Willingness to teach and mentor others
- Willingness to take a position and share views freely in a constructive and solution-based manner
