Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with new customers for various byproduct and raw material waste streams across all regions
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with Enviva associates at all sites
  • Communicate necessary information between Enviva, customers and contractors
  • Create new revenue stream opportunities at enterprise scale
  • Provide financial impact analysis for byproduct sales opportunities, and track actuals against forecast
  • Uphold and maintain positive representation of Enviva’s values with customers and within the local industry and community
  • Coordinate and ensure loading / pick up / delivery plans consistently satisfy Enviva and customer needs
  • Implement best practices for byproduct inventory management with Enviva Operations team to maximize sales revenue opportunities
  • Ensure contractors provide current and accurate contractual and insurance documentation / requirements to administrative staff
  • Provide Sales Order / vendor setup information to customers to ensure material can be sold at respective sites
  • Identify and validate new contractors as necessary to fulfill demand plans and mitigate performance issues
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate intimate knowledge of the current state of the byproduct business in the operating area, including competitor activity
  • Perform ad-hoc projects / tasks as needed to support team and company objectives

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required, with a focus in business administration / forestry / wood products / sales and marketing
  • 5-10 years’ experience in the wood product industry
  • Willing and comfortable traveling independently to all Enviva sites on a regular basis
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining supplier relationships
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing contractors to meet expectations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
