What you will bring to the team.

The C++ Developer designs, builds, and supports software solutions for some of the world’s largest retailers. Our developers are involved in the entire project lifecycle, they interact directly with our business owners to understand and document requirements, collaborate with the implementation and test teams on design and development; and they oversee delivery and provide ongoing support for their work.

What you will be doing:

• Design and develop software solutions with some architectural guidance.
• Collaborate, as required, with internal and external teams to facilitate development/test, sales, interlock with third-party vendors, and improve development practices.
• Analyze requirements, understand and follow design documentation, implement design by coding using object-oriented principles.
• Debug and analyze internal and field defects.
• Code bug fixes internal and field defects.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Reviews code.

Naturally to be successful in this role, you must have and know of:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing in C++ environments.
• 3+ years of Object-Oriented development.
• Knowledge in Programming Design Paterns.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
• Understanding of SCRUM agile ceremonies.
• Advanced English.

Preferred skills:

• JIRA software management application.
• GITLab platform.
•  
• Experience in Retail POS software.
• Knowledge of Electronic Payment ecosystem.
• Proficient writing skills to document technical details of bug fixes and features; conduct written communication with external and internal peers.
