Job Description

We are looking for a developer for our Digi Hub with a focus on the mobile communications planning application PegaPlan. We have been working for several years in international Scrum teams developing the system.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of the C++ programming language
• Several years of practical programming experience in the field of larger projects
• Fluent handling of integrated development environments such as MS Visual Studio or QtCreator
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system, including the ability to operate at the command line level Basic
• Knowledge of shell programming of such systems (e.g. sh, csh, bash)
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong ability to work in a team and flexibility as well as a high sense of responsibility and commitment
• Intercultural competence or experience in working with international units
• Full working proficiency in English

Additional Information

Advantages:

• Database know-how, SQL or SQLite knowledge is helpful
• Experience with geospatial data (raster and vector) processing and GDAL
• Experience with mathematical/algorithmic models
• Basic knowledge of the functioning of cellular mobile communications systems (GSM, TETRA, UMTS/HSxPA, LTE and 5G)
