Job Description
Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is currently seeking to hire a Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Senior Analyst. The successful candidate is an action-oriented, self-motivated person with a basic understanding of C-sUAS. The candidate will support the Department of Defense's Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO) as a Doctrine Integrator in the Requirements & Capabilities Division (R&C). The Senior Analyst will support the R&C Division Chief, Deputy Division Chief, and Division leadership as directed. Serves as a Doctrine, Lessons Learned, and Doctrine-adjacent focal point to synchronize, integrate, and coordinate non-material efforts for R&C with all stakeholders including, but not limited to Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, and Inter-Agency partners for CONUS and OCONUS activities.

The candidate should possess an exceptional understanding of the Counter-UAS mission. They must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and specifically be comfortable and able to convey ideas to Senior Leaders.
A candidate with former related military experience is a plus, along with strong related experience.
The position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
A Master's degree is also strongly desired.
Additional years' experience and a Bachelor's degree will be considered.
Position requires that the candidate possess a current security clearance to access classified material.
Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in the candidate being ineligible for this position.
This position will be onsite with the customer in Arlington, VA.
Some required travel is anticipated.

Duties will include:
- Maintain awareness and track existing Service, Multiservice, Joint, and International efforts in the C-sUAS Doctrine Realm.
- Synchronize enterprise Doctrine actions with leadership, internal personnel, and external personnel.
- Create products, processes, schedules, and reports as necessary and or as directed to support JCO leadership decisions.
- Update and brief organizational leaders regularly on existing actions to include impact of actions and provide recommendations on the way ahead with realistic timelines.
- Facilitate Operational Planning Teams & Working Group meetings as needed.
- Analyze processes, issues, concerns and provide growth-oriented solutions to solve Counter small UAS problems.
- Prepare written products (reports, info papers, executive summaries) to shape and defend JCO Doctrine & Lessons Learned positions.
- Serve as the interorganizational SME for Doctrine and knowledge management.
- Coordinate with multiple agencies in order integrate Counter-small UAS Doctrine.
- Prepare and present briefings and report to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Answer requests for information from legislature (e.g. Congress) and stakeholders as required.
