C4D Artist

We are looking for a freelance C4D Artist to work on a contract basis. As a C4D artist, you will be working closely with the Creative Director, creative team, and production.

• To produce work of exceptional standard
• Collaborate with the 3D and teams to deliver shots and sequences with efficiency and creativity
• Will be responsible for tech checking their own shots and others, giving both creative and technical feedback
• Identity software or tools that can help further the efficiency of work carried out
• Work closely with a project’s producer and/or coordinator to ensure that work is delivered within project deadlines and meets the client’s brief, both creatively and technically
• Remain up-to-date with current creative trends in visual effects and apply these to the work
• Develop a culture of excellence around the creative use of techniques, software and technology
• Help to develop Mod Op processes and workflow across individual projects

Requirements

• At least 3+ years experience in compositing in C4D
• Skilled Animator with a deep understanding of C4D
• Knowledge of X-Particles and GPU-based renderers like Redshift
• Ability to thrive under pressure to meet deadlines, and with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills, organization and team awareness
• A creative and collaborative problem solver
• Artistic ability to look-dev assets and sets
• Excellent people and team-working skills
• Good knowledge of production pipeline, techniques and executions. Working knowledge of current creative trends and innovations in visual effects.
