Cabinet Refinishing Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a un-skilled applicant who is interested in learning the trade and developing within our business. You will be responsible for assisting an experienced technician in applying paint and coatings to Kitchens + Bathrooms and other surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Over time you will have opportunity to develop and grow within the company. Responsibilities: - Apply paint and coatings to cabinets and other surfaces using various techniques and methods. - Conduct thorough inspections of surfaces to identify any damage or imperfections that need to be addressed before painting. - Perform finishing and fixture installation as required. - Install and repair trim carpentry to ensure a smooth and even finish. - Use hand tools to prepare surfaces for painting, including caulking and sanding. - Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a high-quality finish. - Participate in renovating and restoring properties to their original condition. - Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements: - Background in construction industry preferred - Attention to detail. - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and climbing. - Ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment. - A passion for delivering exceptional results and a commitment to quality workmanship.
