- This candidate will be working in the Hanon Systems Global Compressor Core group. In this group the candidate using CAE tools will build analytical models to further the development of new refrigerant compressor technologies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform FEA and Kinematic analysis.
- Perform modal and vibration analysis to aid in predicting compressor Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH).
- Perform studies comparing the theoretical models results to physical test results.
- Perform 1D studies to size and optimize components designs.
- Develop governing equations to aid model development.
- Interface with the suppliers and customers as required.
Degree Preferred
- Master's Degree or Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering is required
Years of Experience
- 8-10 years of experience using and applying FEA and Kinematic software tools.
Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications
- Preferred experienced user of FEA (ANSYS), and Kinematic (ADAMS) software's.
- Background in component design, Solid Mechanics, Dynamic Systems, Kinematics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics
- Experienced with CAD software's (Catia, Creo, NX)
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a global team.
- Time management skills.
- Experienced working with suppliers and customers.
- Technical communication skills.
- Self-motivated, self-starter.
- Ability to work with limited guidance/supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments at one time.
