Our Summer Internship Program offers an exciting array of future-forward opportunities at the intersection of Alternative Investments, Independent Wealth Management, and Technology. We designed our 10-week summer internship to provide you with foundational knowledge and professional skills, all the while building a powerful network of colleagues. From day one, you will be immersed in our innovative and inclusive company culture and will gain an insider's view as to what it is like to work at a rapid growth fintech firm! 

You can expect:  

  • Meaningful and challenging projects and assignments within an identified focus area (division or line of business)  
  • Personalized training opportunities specific to building skills for your focus area 
  • To learn the foundations of alternative investments (hedge funds, private equity, real estate, private credit, structured notes, digital assets) 
  • To gain a holistic understanding of our business through weekly rotating exposure to different departments  
  • To actively participate and engage in group discussions, and shadow internal and external meetings 
  • Robust networking opportunities with peers, senior leaders and executives 
  • Professional etiquette, presentation building and public speaking training  
  • To apply the skills learned throughout the experience to an end-of-internship team project and presentation 

 Qualifications to apply: 

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a four-year program  
  • 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher 
  • Well-rounded background that includes demonstrated leadership abilities 
  • An interest in pursuing a career within financial services or fintech  
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly both verbally and in writing  
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills  
  • Have a growth mindset, and are passionate about continuous learning  
  • Will be based in NYC during the summer of 2023 
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA   
  • Resume must be in PDF or Word format   

This is a paid full-time summer internship for 10 weeks between June and August at CAIS’ headcounters in NYC. All individuals interested in pursuing the opportunity are encouraged to apply. For the duration of the 10-week program, CAIS offers a market competitive rate of $30 per hour.
