Call Center Representative (Long-Term Contract)

Day To Day: An employer is looking for a Patient Access Representative within a call center environment in the Beverly Hills, CA area. This person will be responsible for handling about 50+ calls per day for multiple primary care offices across Southern California. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering phones, triaging patients, providing directions/parking instructions, contacting clinic facility to notify if a patient is running late, scheduling and rescheduling patients' appointments, verifying insurances, and assisting with referrals/follow up care. This position is fully on-site until fully trained and passing multiple assessments (typically around 2-3 months of working - depending on performance) where it will then go remote. Must be able to work any/all shifts between 7am-7pm Monday-Friday. Duration:6-month contract, with very likely extensions up to/over a year on contract before potentially converting perm Hours:M-F – must be able to work any shift between 7am-7pm MUST HAVES: -HS Diploma -2+ years healthcare call center experience OR front desk experience at doctor’s office with multiple physicians -Proficient in EHR/EMR software -2+ years experience scheduling patient appointments for multiple physicians -40+ WPM typing speed PLUSSES: -Proficient in Epic software -Experience verifying insurances -Basic experience with Excel and standard workbooks -Experience with Genesis phone system Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • How far do you live from Beverly Hills? • Are you comfortable working on a 6-month contract?
