Job Summary
The ePMO resides within the Enterprise Business Improvement (EBI) organization. The OneAmerica ePMO is versatile, diligent, and transparent in the execution of initiatives. This role has learned the critical aspects of capacity management and can work independently to manage multiple portfolios simultaneously. This role will be accountable for the planning, forecasting and execution of capacity management including the creation and maintenance of reporting, dashboards and other activities which align to capacity management including tool knowledge and maintenance.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establish and manage process to evaluate capacity needs (Standardized, Expedited, Replacement Type Resourcing) on an ongoing basis for specific portfolio(s)
- Build institutional knowledge and best practices around the Project Capacity Management function
- Collaborate with Portfolio Planning and Analysis to understand upcoming needs for assigned portfolio(s) and business units to understand key upcoming initiatives and priorities
- Partner with key stakeholders' in assigned portfolio(s) to design and build interaction model (e.g., Strategy Liaisons, PMs, BRMs, EA)
- Develop and operationalize reporting for management and senior leaders
- Perform quarterly demand vs. capacity analyses to ensure our ability to meet mid-term/quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Maximizes synergies and quality working relationships with business partners, stakeholders maintaining the spirit and intent of overall capacity strategies.
- Establish an ongoing capacity plan and coordinate the execution of this plan within budget guidelines, and according to KPI metrics.
- Analyze forecasted workload with consideration to historical trends and initiatives known to impact workload and/or staffing.
- Evaluate enterprise staffing needs and weigh against effectiveness of available capacity.
Job Requirements
Required Education and/or Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Recommended Education and/or Certifications
- Minimum of 1 of the following or proof of equivalent experience:
- wLean Six Sigma (Green Belt)
- wSAFe® Program Consultant (SPC)
- wSAFe® Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)
- wProject Management Professional (PMP)
- wProgram Management Professional (PgMP)
- ITIL Foundation
Required Work Experience
- 5-8 years' experience in combined Capacity Management, Project Planning and execution
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Project
- Robust knowledge of IT Service Management and Project Management
- Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
- Strong communicator who must be able to analyze complex problems and present straightforward solutions, concepts, ideas, figures, action plans, etc.
- Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Salary Band: 06C
This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
