Job Description

As a Capital Formation Analyst, you will have the ability to grow your knowledge and experience in the Real Estate Private Equity industry and collaborate closely with all functional teams within Lionstone. Within the Capital Formation team, you will be supporting all aspects of fundraising, due diligence, business and product development, and investor relations for both existing and prospective limited partner relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior members of the Capital Formation team across all capital raising initiatives with both current and prospective limited partners
  • Provide support in the ideation, research, and creation of materials surrounding capital initiatives, helping the firm effectively and efficiently develop new investment vehicles and grow
  • Provide priority assistance during all active due diligence requests, ranging from ad-hoc requests to initiative-specific DDQs, to ensure exceptional and timely delivery
  • Coordinate with Lionstone Finance to produce timely performance reporting that can be distributed to investors and posted to various online databases.
  • Participate in creation and maintenance of comprehensive marketing presentations and fundraising documents, including maintenance of proper compliance approvals and documentations globally
  • Maintain due diligence library and marketing collateral archive to capture historical touch points and to ensure up-to-date material distribution as well as proper support documentation
  • Grow institutional knowledge through planning and attendance of annual investor meetings
  • Update and maintain the firm's customer relationship management software while leading its wider integration across the firms
  • Cultivate and grow effective channels of collaboration across various teams at Lionstone, especially at the analyst, senior analyst, and associate level

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of investment/financial services experience, and/or education (preferably in private equity and/or real estate)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years successfully leading large and complex projects in a professional or educational environment
  • High level of experience in Microsoft Suite, especially in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Demonstrated success in influencing senior leaders in both internal and external environments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized amidst a wide variety of tasks and work successfully under time constraints and deadlines
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic team where all members support one another and contribute to success
