Job Overview:
As Capital Markets Analyst, you will deliver competitive pricing and perform data manipulation, validation, and analysis activities to improve efficiencies and to identify opportunities in product profitability and performance.
Responsibilities:
Clients Come First. All decisions at CapCenter are rooted around how the clients benefit. You will ensure CapCenter is offering competitive rates daily by leveraging our internal pricing processes and analyzing market comparable. It is all about the pricing strategy.
Innovation Never Stops. People, process, and system innovations are ongoing. You will acquire knowledge of the primary and secondary mortgage market financial system and in turn drive to completion projects that Capital Markets is a part of at CapCenter, either owning the project directly or by playing a key role in the ad hoc analysis need.
Excellence is a Team Sport. Be a "play-maker." Maintain strong relationships with our investor banks and rate desks with whom you interact with daily. Develop strong relationships with our partners to resolve any issues as they arise. Collaborate directly with mortgage and realty team members to ensure a best-in-class client experience.
Savings are Earned. CapCenter seeks to save our clients' money, time, risk, and effort. You will sell loans and manage the day-to-day operations of previously locked loans. Daily, you will set rates, maintain an interest rate hedge, and keep the pipeline in order through extensions and cancelling loans, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative focus preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong professionalism, ethics, and character
- Ability to learn, prioritize, adapt, and respond quickly in time sensitive situations
