Job Description

Job Summary

The Capital Markets Analyst position is responsible for supporting the capital markets function for the company. This position also compiles and analyzes financial information and develops and maintains models, projections, reports, and presentations. Responsibilities include assisting with asset-backed securitization ("ABS") transaction execution, reviewing collateral loan data, cash flow modeling, asset valuation, and preparation of investor reports.

Job Duties

• Assists with all aspects of the securitization process, including working with underwriters, legal counsel, rating agencies and accountants to execute asset-backed securitization ("ABS") transactions and private credit facilities.
• Analyzes and reports on company financial information including credit performance, financial performance and securitizations reporting.
• Builds and maintains multiple cashflow, valuation and other financial models.
• Supports excess capital allocation strategies.
• Builds slides that detail monthly capital markets activity that are used to present to the Executive team at regular asset/liability committee meetings.
• Creates and maintains rating agency and investor presentations.
• Works closely with other departments such as portfolio management, credit risk management, accounting, finance and IT; assist on various projects and deliverables.
• Responsible for structuring pools for quarterly loans sales and securitizations regularly throughout the year; builds stratifications for said pools to ensure all criteria are being met for different funding vehicles.
• Develops, gathers and monitors capital markets and consumer finance market trends and conditions.
• Ensures all Treasury controls and compliance requirement are met.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:

• College Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 0 to 2 or more years of direct related experience.
• Must have intermediate financial spreadsheets experience.
• Requires effective communications skills.
• Intermediate analytical, critical thinking and prioritization abilities.
• Results oriented with heavy focus on attention to detail
• Additional experience with data warehouse environments, SQL, Intex or Bloomberg is a plus.
