ABOUT THE ROLE
The Capital Markets and M&A Associate is responsible for building and analyzing financial models, capital provider due diligence, and deal documentation. You will generally lead day to day execution on capital raises as well as strategic M&A activity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead financial modeling, analysis, and due diligence activities for project and portfolio acquisitions.
- Actively participate in tax equity and debt project financings, managing the modeling and assisting in due diligence.
- Build, refine, and maintain financial models for solar and storage projects.
- Support evaluations and analysis of power offtake opportunities to determine offer pricing and structures.
- Lead execution of strategic acquisition and sale opportunities
- Prepare analysis and resulting reports to support business operations. Provide analytical support on a wide variety of business initiatives.
- Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
- Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.

- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, energy/environmental, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in renewable energy/tax equity financial analysis.
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
- Skills/Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Accountability in setting goals and timelines, proactively completing tasks, and setting clear expectations for yourself.
- Ability to analyze complex data and situations to make decisions.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- High-degree of self-motivation with the ability to effectively solve problems with little direction.
