Seeking an experienced Capital Sales Regional Manager to join Surgalign's digital surgery solutions team.

A great opportunity exists to join a growing team launching the HOLO Portal's surgical guidance system into the spinal fusion markets. This surgical guidance system is the first technology to leverage both artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) into one surgical platform for spinal fusion. The proprietary AI algorithms autonomously segment intra-operative 3D imaging and produce validated surgical plans, while its state-of-the-art AR displays the surgical plan for implant placement (https://www.surgalign.com/digital-health/).

JOB SUMMARY:

The Regional Manager will be responsible for the sale of the HOLO Platform to hospitals and surgery centers in the assigned geography.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with marketing, digital surgery and the spine hardware sales teams to identify and develop strategy and tactics for the territory.
  • Execute strategic plans leveraging existing and future customer relationships to maximize the capital sales process.
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of capital equipment to exceed sales targets
  • Development of surgeon champion(s) for support of disruptive technology
  • Ability to work vertically within a hospital/hospital system at all levels including the C-Suite
  • Communicate needs, work well with ambiguity, and possess ability to work with adjacent internal groups to exceed customer expectations and company goals.
  • Ongoing communication of market trends to the capital sales team and corporate accounts group when beneficial for the greater good of the organization.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers and other third parties of Surgalign.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

  • Required:
    • Bachelors' degree
    • At least 3-6 years of relevant medical capital sales experience
    • Experience with disruptive capital technology sales
  • Preferred:
    • Navigation/Robotics subject matter expertise
    • Spine/Ortho industry and/or Intuitive Surgical experience
