We are looking for a Capture Analyst to provide assistance to the Capture and Proposal efforts in the development and execution of a Capture Plan, including technical, management, pricing, and past performance/corporate experience. Lead and manage capture efforts across all business units.
This role will be vital in the creation and management of capture plans and eventual proposal creation and delivery on federal procurements. This person will help create winning strategies and dynamic solutions that will lead to the direct growth of Oddball. Working hand in hand with our Capture Managers, the Capture Analyst will work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all capture requirements and strategies are optimized for success.
We are looking for someone with the following experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in the government contracting/bidding space, including working with Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience researching targeted agencies and opportunities (including attending tech summits).
- Knowledgeable in capture management, including developing the capture plan, pricing strategy and past performance/solutions proposals.
- Ability to develop win themes and responses to customer requirements.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to contribute to high-quality proposals.
- Experience working with Federal government customers, such as Veterans Affairs, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, Office of Personnel Management, etc.
- Strong presentation, writing, and communication skills.
- Experience with VA, DoD, CMS, or HHS, and building customer domain understanding and knowledge; participating in solution collaboration with customers on potential solutions.
- Familiarity with key IT initiatives including Agile, cloud development, DevSecOps, IT modernization, cybersecurity, data analytics, etc.
- Understanding of a variety of contract types including cost plus, fixed price, award fee, and performance-based contracting are key.
- Familiarity with major federal government acquisition strategies, contract vehicles, and government budgeting processes
Responsibilities Include:
- Research on Targeted Agencies and Opportunities (including attending tech summits, industry days and other events).
- Research on competitor companies for Blackhat using readily available tools and information sources.
- Research on potential teaming partners using readily available tools and information sources.
- Knowledge Management of Past Performance and Capabilities Database.
- Monitor GovWin, Sam.Gov, eBuy and other sources for potential opportunities.
- Manage and Respond to Data Calls.
- Assist with managing Salesforce for Pipeline management and Call Plan execution.
- Proposal Writing and Color Team Review as necessary.
- Assist Account Managers during the Research Gate pulling in data for FPDS, previous requirements, T&Cs, etc.
- Managing relationships with partners and subcontractors.
This position is remote. Must be located within the United States.
This is a salaried role. Oddball offers tech and continuing education stipends.
