Position Responsibilities
- Aggressively identify, qualify and lead capture efforts for all qualified opportunities assigned.
- The Capture Manager will gather and document opportunity intelligence.
- The Capture Manager will gather and document customer intelligence (customer profile, customer hot buttons and pain points, decision makers, influencers, contracting office, small business office).
- The Capture Manager will gather and document contract intelligence (acquisition strategy, contract vehicle, RFP release date, estimated award date, estimated contract value, incumbents for a recompete).
- The Capture Manager will gather and document competition intelligence (likely competitors, current incumbents, SWOT analysis).
- The Capture Manager will gather and document Teaming intelligence (Recommended teaming partners and rationale, relationship with customer and customer organization, knowledge of customer technical environment).
- The Capture Manager will gather and document Gap analysis in GITI's capabilities and approach.
- The Capture Manager from Red Team will gather and document recommendations to improve the likelihood of win (win strategies).
- The Capture Manager will develop and deliver a call plan to enable GITI to build customer intimacy.
- The Capture Manager will recommend consultants with customer intimacy to open doors for GITI to meet with the customer.
- The Capture Manager will deliver the complete consolidated capture report with all of the above information to GITI.
- Lead the development and implementation of all aspects of the Capture Plan, including Win Strategy, Price to Win, etc.
- Be the customer advocate during the proposal phase and will interpret customer requirements and assist in architecting a customer-centric solution.
- Keep the Leadership Team informed and engaged and will escalate issues needing resolution in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
- The candidate should understand one or more agencies where he/she has recently grown DoD and other Federal Government organizations in Cyber, Cloud, DevSecOps, or agile software development.
- An understanding of Cyber, Cloud, DevSecOps or agile software development and the ability to work with technical teams to develop and evolve win strategies, key offer elements, competitive discriminators, and resulting win themes.
- The candidate should have deep knowledge and recent relevant experience performing hands-on Capture as an individual performer, understand processes, and have the discipline to pursue qualified opportunities.
