The Role
As a Capture Manager at Striveworks you’ll be challenged—and trusted—on day one to drive public sector pursuits.

The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance of esteemed customers and develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
You’ll be working closely with company leadership and leading the capture process. This includes identifying opportunities, creating and submitting proposals, and staying engaged with the process through contract awards.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Work closely with Business Development to manage public sector acquisition processes
- Create Capture Plans, bid strategies, identify and coordinate with potential teaming partners
- Lead strategic capture efforts throughout the sales lifecycle
- Manage and coordinate various business functions through the capture process
- Present opportunities throughout the capture process to executive leadership
- Work with delivery team to develop a transition plan from award to implementation
- Work across teams to develop solutions and meet client requirements
- Work with Finance team to create price to win strategies
- Work with delivery leadership to develop a transition plan from award to implementation
- Participate in the identification, qualification and prioritization of an opportunity pipeline
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $125,000–$175,000/year. Striveworks’ total compensation package includes a competitive base salary, annual performance-based equity grants, and a lucrative yearly cash bonus.
This position offers a fully remote work environment, or you can work hybrid/onsite at our office in northwest Austin, TX.

Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 10 years experience in complex, solutions focused IT sales, engineering or capture experience in Public Sector (Software company preferred)
- 5 years experience in a capture role (Federal Systems Integrator or Software company preferred)
- Experience in prime/sub teaming, negotiations, and content management
- Experience leading teams with members from a variety of organizations and functional responsibilities, to develop and evolve win strategies
- Past performance in developing customer relationships, developing a qualified pipeline, building industry relationships, and leading capture efforts
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to stakeholders and decision-makers; strong briefing and writing skills
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisitions and strategies related to the solutions, service and product marketplaces
- In-depth working knowledge of industry leading Pursuit and Capture Development Lifecycle process such as Shipley, or similar processes
- Experience with the SOCOM acquisition process
