Carpenter Foreman

Overview: TheCarpenter Foremanperforms basic installation of materials on a construction site.Responsibilities: • Coordinate carpentry tasks according to priorities and plans • Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew • Allocate general and daily responsibilities • Supervise and train workers • Ensure manpower and resources are adequate • Ensure that all safety precautions and quality standards are met • Resolve problems when they arise • Report on progress to Superintendent • Perform daily carpentry related tasks as requiredQualifications: EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION • High school diploma or GED • 2+ years of construction experience • Or equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • In-depth understanding of construction principles and procedures • Ability to read construction drawings • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Ability to communicate and report effectively • Strong problem solving skills • Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations • Ability to work in a team environment • OSHA 10 hour certified ( will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary) Next 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work.
