Carpenter

Responsibilities: • Proficient in framing, drywall, trim work, hang doors, drill and set door hardware, set windows, layout for stairs and common rafters, read blueprints, utilize appropriate math skills. • Read blueprints to do material estimates. • Order materials and manage subcontractors on the job. • Abides by all OSHA safety guidelines and can safely operate power tools and heavy machinery. • Utilize different software programs like CompanyCam and JobProgress to track all aspects of every job; TimeWorks for clocking in/out. • Look presentable and dressed in clean company attire.Requirements: • Valid driving license (required). • Education: A high school diploma or GED. • Experience: Must have 5-10 years in carpentry, preferably in roofing industry. • Must provide your own hand tools.Skillsets: • Possess general knowledge of construction materials and remodeling trades, practices procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control and safety. • Good with time management and coming to work on time. • Must be able to communicate well with others. • Basic mathematical and analytical skills. • Prefer a motivated self-starter. • Hours: • Full-time with the option of overtime • Monday – Friday with weekend availabilityBenefits: • Paid time off after probationary period (holidays and vacation time) • Annual bonus • Company attire • Transportation from office to job site is provided Salary:$30-$35 per hour (based on experience)
