Carpenter

We are looking for a skilledCarpenterto join our team in Chicago, IL. This role involves constructing, repairing, and installing building frameworks, furniture, and other wood-based structures for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work from blueprints or technical drawings with minimal supervision. Pay $25-30 an hour Key Responsibilities: • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, and other materials. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. • Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other fixtures. • Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely. • Maintain a clean and organized worksite, following all safety protocols. • Work independently or collaboratively to meet project deadlines. • Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in carpentry preferred. • 3+ years of carpentry experience (apprentice or journeyman level). • Proficient in using a variety of carpentry tools and equipment. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. • Strong math and measurement skills. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
