Why this role matters

The Global Carrier Team, which sits within the Vonage Carrier Management Team, is responsible for driving new connectivity globally. 

A newly created role with multiple stakeholders and expectations of quick market acceptance and growth, the successful candidate must have mastery of a range of leadership and individual contributor skills to drive the growth of advanced network APIs.

We seek to recruit an experienced Carrier Relations Manager (Global International accounts) to join the team. This person will ensure we have the best network connectivity to drive our customers’ success. This hands-on role enables Vonage to deliver the high quality and breadth of service our customers expect. Be a central part of building out a new, strategic connectivity roadmap at Vonage.

What you'll do

• Create, own, and lead the plan for global international coverage ensuring Vonage has the best connectivity products and services to meet our customers' needs.
• Collaborate with CSP project teams, business development, sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to fully understand the market requirements.
• Build new connectivity with Carriers and Partners across network services and next-generation API's.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key carrier partners.
• Position Vonage as the partner to work within the carrier community through industry engagement thought leadership and partnership.
• Alignment and collaboration with Vonage legal team to sign agreements with CSPs.
• Work with the Vonage Product Team to develop new API operating models.

What you'll bring

• Knowledge of Carrier Relations and an ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience leading complex commercial projects involving extended virtual teams.
• Knowledge of the cloud communications industry, and API business.
• Excellent communication skills - communicating at all levels, including external conferences on behalf of Vonage.
• Broad knowledge of how the market is regulated, operated, and managed.
• Experience working directly with Carriers (CSPs) globally.
• Fluent in English language skills.
• A problem solver, that is results-driven and builds a sense of team.
