What will you be doing?

The shift for this Carrier Sales Representatives position is from 1:00pm to 10:00pm CST. The Carrier Sales Representatives on the Pit Crew team are responsible for supporting same day, next day and after-hours load coverage. To be successful in this role, you must be hardworking, diligent in their attention to detail, and strategic in their efforts to cover MoLo's freight with consistent carrier relationships. You are required to communicate with a sense of urgency including, but not limited to, their communications with internal departments to resolve issues

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cover and service assigned same day and next day freight within your region/sub-region as well as after-hour loads
  • Utilize internal tools to prospect and identify potential carrier partnerships
  • Develop and grow personal relationships with carriers through diligent profiling and storage of data in the system
  • Communicate daily with assigned carriers to source and book available capacity
  • Accurately track covered loads in a timely manner
  • Service carrier partners by reporting accessorials and issues in a timely manner and resolve with internal departments
  • Ensure coverage for any assigned weekend and holiday shifts
  • Participate in bi-annual performance reviews and monthly 1:1s with your manager
  • Hit daily/weekly/monthly KPIs set by regional manager

Shift: Monday through Friday 1:00pm to 10:00pm CST

Requirements

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 6 months of third-party logistics experience is preffered
  • Proven track record of building, maintaining, and growing carrier relationships
  • Self-motivated individual with proven issue resolution skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to align growth initiatives with industry leading service levels
