What will you be doing?
As Carrier Sales Representative on the weekend team, you will work the weekend shift which is Thursday through Sunday from 7:00am to 5:00pm CST. You will develop, maintain, and grow relationships between transportation providers (carriers) and MoLo Solutions. You will prospect carriers through phone calls and onboard quality carriers to ensure we are able to execute according to our customers' shipping requirements for weekend shipments. Your primary focus will be to sell all shipments that move over the weekend to carrier partners. This fast-paced role will give you exposure to sales, operations, and account management all while working on a growing team. With our extensive training, you will quickly become comfortable with the technology used, the transportation industry, and how to build and operate carrier portfolios.

Main Responsibilities:
- Cover and service assigned same day and next day freight within your region/sub-region as well as after-hour loads
- Utilize internal tools to prospect and identify potential carrier partnerships
- Develop and grow personal relationships with carriers through diligent profiling and storage of data in the system
- Communicate daily with assigned carriers to source and book available capacity
- Accurately track covered loads in a timely manner
- Service carrier partners by reporting accessorials and issues in a timely manner and resolve with internal departments
- Ensure coverage for any assigned weekend and holiday shifts
- Participate in bi-annual performance reviews and monthly 1:1s with your manager
- Hit daily/weekly/monthly KPIs set by regional manager
Requirements
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 6 months of third-party logistics experience or previous sales experience is preferred
- Proven track record of building, maintaining, and growing carrier or customer relationships
- Self-motivated individual with proven issue resolution skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
- High attention to detail and proven ability to multitask
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
