Job Summary

The cash application specialist is responsible for applying cash applications to Open AR in the companies' ERP system in a timely manner. Huge growth potential in both cash applications and or other areas of AR if candidate is wanting to advance their career

Job Responsibilities

• Pull bank reporting daily via Bank of America CashPro website, BOA Global or United Transactions to view receipts
• Process cash receipts via Excel Macro
• Post funds in multiple ERP systems
• Research unapplied payments and missing information from bank source
• Assist Supervisor with journal entries for finance charges, miscellaneous journal requests and other write offs
• Assist Credit and Collections team with check copies if needed for research

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years related experience
• Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Computer proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent telephone skills
• Team player - ability to share information within the department and company
• Ability to be flexible as we continue to process improve
