Cash Management Analyst

Onit – Pune, Maharashtra, India – Full time (US Shift: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST)

We are looking for a Cash Management Analyst with strong exposure and experience in managing all forms of customer payments, including checks, credit cards, ACH, and wires. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with attention to detail and a proven history of ability to communicate and collaborate well with multiple business partners across the company and display strong initiative and rigor to keep our cash in the GL current.

Role and responsibilities:

• Daily cash management across all banks.
• Ownership of ensuring that customer payments are applied, accounts payable activities are recorded timely, and that all transfers are recorded.
• Ensure that we have timely cash close at each month end close.
• Responsible for researching prior errors and presenting findings to the SVP, Controller.
• Responsible for bank reconciliation management throughout the month and closing out each month end close.
• Responsible for reviewing, researching, and correcting/updating any undeposited fund or cash related account errors in the GL that were caused in due to prior practices.
• Coordinate with leadership on monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Lead and/or participate in ad hoc projects. Projects may include collaborations with other departments.
• Handle any other activities or tasks deemed necessary and appropriate by the leadership team.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in cash application and management activities.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate well with multiple business partners across the company and display strong initiative and rigor to keep our cash in the GL current.
• Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision and a high degree of ownership.
• Proficient in standard business system tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Nice to have a Master’s Degree.
• Experience with Intact and/or other accounting software strongly preferred.
