Cash Management Analyst

Position Summary

Mid-level position which performs all cash management functions related to liquidity management and financial reporting.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash management duties including cash forecasting and positioning, short-term borrowing and investing, electronic fund movements and daily cash reporting.
• Reconcile daily bank activity to cash transactions posted in TWS (treasury software system) and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis; process manual journal entries as required; create, review, validate and feed cash transactions to the general ledger on a daily basis.
• Manage banking websites and internal cash management software applications to ensure efficient, accurate and timely processing and reporting of daily cash transactions.
• Determine weighted average short-term borrowing costs for average monthly, quarterly, yearly outstandings and month-end, quarter-end, year-end balances.
• Verify banks' monthly account analysis statements detailing transactions fees and bank charges.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and plan, manage and follow through to completion.
• Respond to miscellaneous external/internal cash management data requests as required.

Minimum Requirements

Associate/Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is desired. Four or more years of cash management or related financial experience. Ability to effectively use financial concepts, spreadsheets, and word processing software Demonstrated mathematical aptitude and attention to detail. Demonstrated planning, analytical and problem solving skills. Understanding of working capital components and forecasting methodologies. Demonstrated customer service and relationship development skills. Participates in training to facilitate skill development and to improve ability to perform more complex tasks.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $27.50 to $38.49 per hour
