Details of the Role

The Cash Management Specialist will assist in the management of banking relationships at various financial institutions.  This involves preparing documents for signature, establishing services, setting up user permissions and reconciling bank accounts.  This associate will build strong relationships with banking representatives and will be responsible for reporting concerns to management and handling highly confidential information.   Position will be fully remote – all equipment provided by the company. Associate will need to provide a remote environment that is conducive to work.    

The Opportunity

The Cash Management Specialist may perform any/all of the following duties:

·       Open and close both cash and fiduciary accounts

·       Set up or modify account services

·       Assign, audit, and track user permissions on bank platforms and in accounting systems

·       Develop relationships with bank representatives who provide Treasury Management and Financial Services support 

·       Create and distribute various reports for management

·       Update corporate banking resolutions and track, audit and update authorized signers on signature cards as needed

·       Validate and reconcile revenue reports

·       Reconcile cash accounts

·       Set up and maintain other vendor services associated with bank accounts

·       Administer Company Credit Card program, track, audit and update card access

·       Monitor shared inboxes and respond as needed

·       Complete requests for cash sweeps and payroll funding

·       Administer remote deposit permissions

·       Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

What you should bring to the table as our ideal Cash Management Specialist:

·       Combination of education and experience that enables performance in all aspects of the position. High School Diploma required, Accounting or related degree strongly preferred.

·       Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in accounting or related field; banking experience preferred. Business knowledge is a plus – related experience with the title, escrow, or mortgage industry.

·       Beneficial technical skills: Familiarity with industry-specific applications –web-based banking platforms for major financial institutions, treasury management applications.

·       Demonstrated detail orientation and commitment to produce work or deliver service of superior quality and quantity. Sets high standards and takes pride in the end-product or resulting relationship. Strives to attain results with follow-up and persistence. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and high productivity to meet urgent, fixed deadlines.

·       Anticipates and identifies needs, and then acts. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work, including bank representatives, vendors, and others.

·       Strong communication skills – with co-workers, management, and vendors. Clear, concise, and effective oral and written communication the ability to seek direction and keep supervisor informed of job status.

·       Excellent organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and initiative to improve processes.  Offer positive contributions through tenacious problem solving and the ability to identify issues and bring about resolution.

·       Strong Excel skills.

·       Team player – looks for ways to contribute; helps others as needed.  Requests additional tasks or assignments to accommodate fluctuating workflow.  Works to build strong relationships with all associates in the department. Self-starter, able to work with limited supervision.  Acts as a leader, involved with the training of less experienced associates.

The base salary range for this role is $37,200 to $70,000. This is the lowest to highest base salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the base salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Doma, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
