PURPOSE STATEMENT
Responsible for managing corporate liquidity utilizing Treasury Workstation and securely obtaining the maximum utilization of corporate funds. This includes managing company's daily cash position (cash flows), debt/investment transactions, funds movement (domestic & international wire transfer operations) domestic & international bank accounts, monitoring bank fees, and relationships with multiple financial institutions. Manages bank account transactions and resolves errors. Ensures compliance with and assists in development of internal cash management controls, policies and procedures. Acts as security administrator for multiple banking / software internet programs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
Cash Management/Debt:• Monitor & manage timely & accurate completion of company's daily cash management function to include overseeing daily cash position, funds transfers, primary bank account reconciliations & ensure minimal excess bank balances are maintained in concentration account.• Direct short term borrowing and investing activities; manage working capital; ensure adequate liquidity • Manage debt portfolios by coordinating execution of appropriate strategies and policies to ensure prudent management of monetary assets & liabilities of Rich Products Corp. • Analyze economic situation. Work with Treasurer on capital market risks & interest exposures.• Create interest expense budget (AOP) & update throughout year to reflect actual expenditures, market changes and company activities
Reporting• Provide weekly Executive Summary debt/interest expense reports to Treasurer after monthly close process for monthly business review meeting.• Provide Treasury/Cash Management (debt/interest) reports or information to internal customers as needed
Management and administration of bank relationships including bank fees (budget tracking/savings realized), bank accounts, & overall cash management services by provider• Prepare & manage annual bank fee budget & forecast• Analyze & monitor monthly bank fee account analysis statements for accuracy/discrepancies, budget tracking and savings realized• Conduct on-going evaluation of banking services and negotiate bank fees/increases. Identify cost-saving & profit maximizing opportunities• Coordinate maintenance of domestic bank account database.• Control external bank account balances & usage. • Manage controls on closing & opening of external bank accounts
Month-end cash accounting• Prepare & distribute daily & month-end cash accounting• Conduct on-going evaluation of banking services including negotiating bank fees/increases. Identify cost saving & profit maximizing opportunities• Compliance reporting for Dodd-Frank, KYC, FBAR and others as needed.
Maintain Treasury Workstation & Cash Management products/services• Assess, recommend & implement Treasury Workstation enhancements as well as improvements to current cash management processes.• Provide ongoing training to Treasury Dept for all enhancements and/or new products• Maintain & update TWS & Cash Mgmt Procedures Manual to incorporate policies, procedures & standards and any process changes/contingency plans. • Maintain security & user access through defined processes and Security Administrator role with online bank products & Treasury Workstation.• Provide cash mgmt expertise/services to internal customers at RPC regarding bank-related issues/products and process changes• Administer/coordinate corporate process changes as they impact other RPC departments• Assist with conversions due to acquisitions to cash flows and bank accounts• Maintain EFT vendors in systems & associated databases
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field with 5 to 8 years of corporate accounting experience.
- Able to lead projects & assist in evaluating and implementing recommendations
- Cash management experience
- Strong account reconciliation and analysis
- Advanced analytical, organizational & communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to work on cross-functional teams
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications especially in Excel, Outlook and Word
- Technology expertise working with SAP and other legacy systems
