THE JOB:

As a Casino Cage Representative, your primary responsibility is to accurately process customer and inter-departmental monetary transactions while delivering exceptional guest service and promoting the MGM Rewards program. All tasks must be executed in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, in addition to adhering to department and company policies, practices, and procedures.


STARTING RATE:Β $17.50 an hour


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Executes duties in line with casino credit policies, including marker payments, deposits, withdrawals, and chip bank tasks such as Fills/Credit to the Pit and Cage. Assists guests with transactional needs and ensures the security of company assets during the shift.

  • Promotes and drives guest enrollment in MGM Rewards, MyVegas rewards, and MGM Rewards Mastercard programs. Issues FREEPLAY, complimentary play coupons, and adjusts tier credits according to company policies.

  • Demonstrates the highest level of S.H.O.W. guest service, escalates guest complaints to the Casino Cage Shift Supervisor, and responds to guest inquiries about the property and local area.

  • Understands and adheres to the company's AML/Suspicious Activity policy, notifying the Supervisor of any unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

  • Promotes responsible gaming principles and consistently encourages the use of GameSense to all guests.

  • Balances all appropriate banks within the Cage at the end of the shift with supervision, completes all reports or forms accurately in compliance with departmental variance policy and Title 31.

  • Preform other job-duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Proficient in handling and processing monetary transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences and resolve issues effectively.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

  • Familiarity with casino operations and gaming regulations is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
