Senior Business Analyst
for Sentara Health Plans
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for leading root cause analysis efforts for issues received by the Customer Advocacy Team (CAT). To include the research and investigation of this issue presented, acting as the primary point of contact for involved stakeholders, scheduling, and leading meetings, and facilitating the containment and countermeasure implementation. Acts as the liaison between internal/external stakeholders communicating with regular updates.
Ideally possesses a high degree of operational knowledge as it relates to customer operations in claims, system administration, benefit configuration, and member enrollment as well as network and/or provider data management. Experience with process improvement and process mapping is a plus.
Related experience will be in root cause analysis or operations.
- Strong critical thinking skills and questioning mindset
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to research, problem solve, trouble shoot, influence, present and partner across the organization
- Proven ability to analyze data, processes and initiate root cause analysis to influence correction actions with leadership
- Proficient knowledge of flow charting/process mapping
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead multi-functional projects and serve as a resource for other members of the team
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Job Requirements:
- 3 years related experience required
- Related experience will be in one of the following areas, root cause analysis or operations.

For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied: $74,933.04 to $112,410.48 annually with a target hiring range of $74,933.04 to $89,915.28.
